just watched a video on how you can use a 3D printer to print makeup. say what?! yeah, can't believe it's possible. just copy the colour into some adobe photoshop software and print as per normal and BAM you get what you asked for! it still puzzles me how 3D printing works, like how in the world did they print it to be 3 dimensional? well, i shan't bother about the details and just appreciate the benefits it brings.

the inventor of this mink printer (that prints makeup) was mentioning how she wanted girls to feel that beauty is in their control and not controlled by those makeup brands that mark up their prices and advertise like crazy to entice you to go into their trap. i'll say good luck to all the make up brands now that there's such a thing around. but i wonder what ingredients are used to make the makeup, like if they are minerals, or who-knows-what. this really opens up a ton of possibilities. but i think it's like opening a pandora box - technology is always like that, it brings good but the evil that comes along with it is no-kidding. just let your little mind wonder about what 3D printing means for us - guns, ammunition etc. yeah you kinda know where this leads us.

this is why the future is scary. 20 years ago, who would've thought that you could video call and have things like whatsapp, instagram, Facebook... another 20 years from now i can't imagine what the world will be like. humans are smart, i mean being able to invent such stuff is amazing. but at the end of it all we trap ourselves. in this race of always having to improve and do better (not that it's a bad thing), but i guess we lose sight of what really matters when our lives come to an end. and people should know by now that the human nature is not pure, people use something good and make it evil and in the end we create a big mess for ourselves.

may we all come to realise in due time that we, by ourselves, are forever trapped in our own human circle and we will never be able to save ourselves. that's why the need for someone external to save us. i didn't mean for this post to turn into something related to my faith but it just turned out that way. the chain of thought seems logical to me. food for thought i guess.
