tomorrow marks the start of my official holidays because my exams will end at 3pm 5 dec :DD celebrate!
anyway, The Last Days of Robert Wong is over. a lot of people suffering from withdrawal syndrome. but i don't really feel it because those 4 days that i was there, i had to face the agony of exams. so, it's good that it's over, so my exams can be done! but some thoughts about the musical. i think it was a job well done! our very first big scale, self-scripted, self-directed, mostly self-composed musical! and more than half of the church was involved in it one way or another. even though i struggled trying to study in between shows and during the show itself, i'm glad to have chosen to be part of it. if not, i'll truly regret not being a part of the musical.
it made me realise that our church has so many talented people! and talents of all sorts - acting, singing, dancing, composing, directing, writing scripts, videography, makeup, photography etc. i'm glad that so many people are just willing to offer themselves to be used by God for His purposes. ultimately, we are just instruments used by Him for His will to be done.
i'm so looking forward to tomorrow after my stats paper. meeting my high school friends for movie and dinner. awesome. i miss talking to them, miss talking about all our nonsense, kpop gossips, complaining together. although 3 of us are all in different courses now, we still have much in common. and on the topic of meetups, i have my string ensemble friends to meet, my dg girls, my ex-dg girls, my japan mission trip friends...haha makes me sound so popular. it's a lie. i'm not. just treasuring the cool people around me. heh.
can't wait for all the food and talking, although i haven't fully recovered from my flu. but i feel much better even without having to take panadol cold. on my road to recovery!
till then,
J.
