school's gotten much more overwhelming over the past few weeks. i finally get what people mean by the crunch week and stuff. but surprisingly i don't feel very bothered. okay, sometimes i do. but most of the time i don't. i think to myself that all will turn out well and i have sufficient time to finish whatever's left. well, i guess it's not a bad thing. it's not the usual procrastination i feel. maybe it's because i have peace in me. it sounds odd that peace in me would cause me to feel less uptight about school work, but it's true. i mean, school isn't what defines me in life. i'll do everything to my best effort, but i won't compromise on things like church activities just for school work. it's not worth it at all. instead, working around my church activities is what i'll do.
school is just a place for you to get some form of knowledge to help you in the future. but ultimately what matters most in life, to me, is being a christian. i'm happy that i don't have to worry about what the future brings because anyway, it's not in my control. just some thoughts about what i feel about overwhelming projects and reports.
okay. i feel that my thoughts are all over the place. it's messy.
i'm looking forward to the year ending. because i like celebrations and there's christmas in december, new year, birthdays and stuff! it's good that time flies. can't believe this coming week's my 10th week of university. i'm adapting to uni life. the seminars, the people, the style of assessment, the projects, the environment, meeting new people (because of projects) and talking to them like we're already friends...yeah it's kinda odd that in uni, because we do projects with 'strangers', we are just put in a situation where we have to start talking to each other. and it's surprisingly easy to become friends just like that. i mean, not all of such friendships will last, but still, i guess in sec/jc, we usually make friends first, then do projects together. but now it's the opposite. you are assigned to groups, then from there you become friends with your group mates. just an interesting thought.
oh i finally came up with the completed song for yz camp. tune only. no lyrics. well, i only have lyrics for the first verse. haha. we'll see how it goes
till then,

J.
