perfect timing

i'm just so thankful that i managed to get all my modules for next semester. it hasn't been a relaxing bidding and it was my first time not getting my mods in the first round first window. i completely panicked when i only got 1 out of 4 of the mods i bidded for in the first window. and it all seemed to get worse when i could only get 1 more mod in the second window.
for people who've no idea about bidding, the idea is that after the first round first window, most of the slots are taken up. so the supply of available slots become very limited. and with basic economics, with limited supply and high demand, the price of the mod will increase. so what i'm saying is that once you don't get your mod in the first window, you'll most probably have to spend quite a fortune to get your mods.
for the past week, i was worrying about bidding. i wanted certain mods and i wanted them to fit my ideal timetable and i wanted to get them at reasonable prices. i mean of course, everyone wants that.
when i saw the bidding results that i only had 2 out of 4 mods, i was super stressed out. i had to find new mods to take cos the old ones had no space left/spaces only for night class which i don't want. in short, it was a GREAT HASSLE to find mods that fit my timetable with available slots.
so the third round of bidding lasted over the weekend and i would only know the results on monday. i was still feeling panicky. lots of what-ifs kept popping into my mind. what if i still can't get xx mod, i'll have no more mods left to take etc...
during bible study on saturday, i shared my bidding woes to my dg. and so happen in the chapter we were doing, my bs leader mentioned on how God's timing is always perfect. God has His own plan and somehow He will make everything happen according to His perfect timing. and at the end of it all, it will fall into place according to His will. i guess the whole idea of God's perfect timing struck me and i immediately related it to my bidding. and my bs leaders were telling me to just trust in God and believe. even though i still had my doubts and worries, i felt more at peace after hearing all those. i didn't bother changing my bids throughout the weekend and i just thought to myself, "if God wants me in that class, under that prof, in that mod, He'll provide." and i held on to that belief till monday when i received the bidding results.
so, when i saw that my 2 other bids were successful, i was overjoyed. can't thank God enough. this is really a testament of His perfect timing. not just perfect timing in when i got my mods, but also perfect timing in providing encouragement and assurance from my dg during my bidding. and so happen my bs leader linked the chapter to perfect timing even though it wouldn't have normally crossed my mind.
indeed it's only when you look back, you can really thank God for everything He has done. everything is in His control. we need to believe and ask God to help us overcome our un-believe.
words can't describe how thankful i am. but anyway, now i'll have to trust God in providing me project group mates for the mods i'm taking(:
till then,

J.
